GLENDALE -- The following is a selection of upcoming cable programming

of local interest:

* This week’s episode of the “Larry Zarian Forum” will feature Joe

Mandoky, a community activist who is leading the recall effort against

Mayor Gus Gomez. Zarian and Mandoky will discuss the recall campaign and

the American flag issue that sparked it.

The live call-in show is from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday on Charter

Communications Channel 26.

To ask a question during the show, call 547-3668.

* The guests on “Wanda’s Cafe,” hosted by Wanda Dorn, will be Mary

Boger and Harut Sassounian, co-chairs of Glendale Citizen’s Memorial

Advisory Committee.

Boger and Sassounian, who were each appointed to the committee by the

City Council, will discuss their final recommendations.

The show is at 9:30 p.m. Thursday on Charter Communications Channel

* “Armenian National Network,” hosted by Vache Mangassarian, will

feature the Rev. Vrej Nersessian on tonight’s show.

Nersessian is a London-based author who has books about Christian art

and the Armenian interpretation of the Bible on display at the J. Paul

Getty Museum through Dec. 2.

Thursday’s show will feature Sylvia Minassian, founder of the annual

Affma Film Festival, which begins Friday at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood.

On Friday’s show, Mangassarian and Tade Harutunian, president of the

Armenian Society of Los Angeles’ youth chapter, will discuss the

responsibility of the community to respond to last week’s terrorist

attacks in New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

The program is at 8 p.m. Monday through Friday on Charter

Communications Channel 26.
