Alex Free Brown Bag series

GLENDALE -- The Alex Theatre continues its Free Brown Bag Concert
Series Thursday with Leela with SlomeJihad Belly Dance Troupe.
Concerts are from noon to 1 p.m. every Thursday in The Alex forecourt
and feature area musicians, actors, poets, dancers, magicians, choirs and
school groups.
The public is invited to bring their lunch and enjoy the
entertainment. Beverage service will be available.
Upcoming programs are Hoover High School Jazz Orchestra, Nov. 15 and
the Crescenta Valley High Instrumental Ensemble, Dec. 6.
Local perform and school groups are welcome to call Alex Executive

‘West Side Story’
GLENDALE -- The Music Theatre of Southern California, which just
completed its run of “Honk” at The Alex Theatre, will bring “West Side
Story,” to Glendale Feb. 22 to 24.
The season continues with “Pajama Game” May 24 to 26; “Grease” Aug. 2
to 4; and “Carnival” Aug. 2 to 4.
