KATHRYN MCLAUGHLIN
Kathryn McLaughlin, a longtime Glendale resident, died Dec. 29, 2001,
in a Burbank hospital.
Mrs. McLaughlin was born April 16, 1926, in California.
She worked as a teacher for 30 years with the Los Angeles Unified
School District.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jack; children, Thomas,
Peter, Maureen, Bridget, Judy and John McLaughlin Jr., and Kathleen
Atkinson, Ann Palmer and Molly Turley; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. today at Incarnation Catholic Church.
Burial will be Friday at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona del Mar.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathryn McLaughlin’s name
to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Sisters, 3431 Waverly Drive, Los Angeles,
CA 90027.
Callanan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
EUNICE MARIE RETTIG
Eunice Marie Rettig, 71, a longtime Montrose resident, died Dec. 4,
2001, in a Glendale hospital.
She was born in Chicago.
She had worked as a office manager for 40 years with the Pennyslvania
Railroad.
She is survived by her daughter, Lindsay Dorio of Carson City, Nev.;
brother, Ronald F. of Montrose; and grandchildren, Mark and Lindsay.
Funeral Mass will be at 8 a.m. Saturday at Holy Redeemer Church.
Private inurnment will follow.

LUCILLE HELEN KALANOSKY
Lucille Helen Kalanosky, 77, a longtime Glendale resident, died Dec.
19, 2001.
She was born in Bayonne, N.J.
She is survived by her sisters, Madeline Guadagno and Dorothy Dobies;
nephews, Paul Dobies and Philip Guadagno; and niece, Melanie Croskey.
Family and friends will gather to visit and share memories from 3 to 9
p.m. tonight, with the recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. in the Garden
Chapel of Woods Scovern Mortuary.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday at
Holy Family Church, 220 E. Elk St.
Burial will follow at San Fernando Mission Cemetery, 11160 Stranwood
Ave., Mission Hills.
