Men arrested on suspicion of robbery

GLENDALE -- A man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of robbery after

breaking away from four grocery store employees who tried to hold him

until police arrived, according to police reports.

The 18-year-old Glendale man and another man were detained by

employees who saw them conceal several items under their clothing at

about 1:20 p.m. Thursday at Ralphs, 1010 N. Glendale Ave, according to

police. A struggle ensued when he broke away from employees, one of whom

received a minor injury to his index finger, police said.

The other man was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
