Police report
The following incidents were taken from police reports.
* Chevy Chase and San Fernando roads: Three Glendale men told police
they were shot at by a passenger in another car early Tuesday. Police
found four casings near the site of the alleged shooting.
* 1500 block of Colorado St: A 19-year-old Eagle Rock man was arrested
Monday on suspicion of statutory rape after he and a 16-year-old girl were seen leaving a Glendale motel.
* 1800 block of Sherer Lane: A 31-year-old Hollywood man was arrested
Monday on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance for sale.
* 600 E. Broadway: A 19-year-old Glendale man was arrested Monday for
allegedly entering Glendale Superior Court with a folding knife.
* Honolulu and Glenwood avenues: A 53-year-old Shadow Hills woman was
arrested Monday on suspicion of driving under the influence.
* 300 block of West Palmer Avenue: A 61-year-old Glendale told police
he was assaulted Monday by his 25-year-old nephew during an argument.
Police were contacted by a hospital employee after the older man was
treated for a cut above his eye and numerous bruises.
* 1100 block of Alameda Avenue: A Glendale woman told police that her
apartment was ransacked Monday.
* 500 block W. Lexington Drive: A man told police his 1987 Toyota was
stolen Monday.
* 1712 Glendale Avenue: A Forest Lawn, Glendale employee told police
Sunday that a prospective employee who was disqualified from
consideration has been making annoying phone calls.
* 1700 block of N. Verdugo Road: A teacher at Verdugo Woodlands School
told police that a check for $21.70 she mailed on campus was stolen,
forged and cashed for $300.
