Suspected shooters plead not guilty

GLENDALE -- Two men pleaded not guilty Monday to trying to kill
another man during a car chase through Glendale, officials said.
Armen Babalarian, 30, of Glendale and Eduard Petrosyan, 25, of North
Hollywood are charged with attempted murder and shooting into an
inhabited dwelling.
During the chase Thursday, shots were fired in the area of Glenoaks
Boulevard and Sonora Avenue, and witnesses reported seeing two cars
chasing each other east on Glenoaks Boulevard.
A second series of shots was fired at a Shell station at 625 N.
Pacific Ave., and the driver of one of the cars was shot once in the
upper left torso.
Charges were not filed against two others arrested in connection with
the shooting: Sarkis Isahakyan, 29, of Glendale; and Tigran Alexsanian,
27, whose address is not known.
