Letter -- George Gordon
Like the crap game in “Guys and Dolls,” the real estate agents’
barbecue open house floats around Glendale, surfacing Sunday, May 19 at
1342 E. Mountain St.
I wondered if establishing a commercial restaurant, open to the
public, on residential property was consistent with city permit
requirements, Health Department requirements, and zoning allowances.
Since this is the second time in recent months Realtors have set up
their public fast-food service on property virtually next to the home of
our city manager, can we conclude the real estate community has thumbs-up
acceptance of this practice by the city of Glendale?
