Jim Rogan to speak at event

LA CRESCENTA -- Former Congressman Jim Rogan will be the guest speaker

Tuesday at a fund-raiser for the Foothills Republican Club.

The club is trying to raise money to finance a Republican headquarters

in La Crescenta. The headquarters would be active from August until

Election Day 2002.

Refreshments and a no-host bar will be included at the event.

The fund-raiser is from 6 to 9 p.m. at the University Club of

Pasadena, 175 N. Oakland Ave., Pasadena. Cost is $15 per person, or $10

per person for members of any of the three clubs holding the event.

The event is being held by the Foothills Republican Club, the

University Club of Pasadena and the La Crescenta Federated Republican

Women.
