Parking commission to meet today

GLENDALE CITY HALL -- The Glendale Transportation and Parking

Commission will meet at 6 p.m. today in the council chambers of City

Hall, 613 E. Broadway.

The commission will consider a new chairperson for the 2002-2003

fiscal year, and an application by Medi-Star Transport Inc. to

operate four nonemergency medical vehicles in the city.

The commission will also receive an update on traffic calming.

City Council to meet Tuesday

GLENDALE CITY HALL -- The Glendale City Council will meet at 6

p.m. Tuesday in the council chambers of City Hall, 613 E. Broadway.

The Glendale Housing Authority will meet at 2:30 p.m., followed by

the Redevelopment Agency. The meetings will be televised live on

Charter Communications Channel 6.

The council will consider:

* Amending the Alex Regional Theatre Board bylaws.

* An ordinance to allow new colors for “No Trespassing” signs.

* A resolution maintaining a special assessment rate for Brand

Boulevard Maintenance District No. 1.
