Car dangles off freeway interchange

A woman walked away from a crash after her car hit several trees
and came to rest on top of a guardrail, officials said.
The single-car accident occurred at about 4 p.m. Tuesday at the
Glendale (2) Freeway interchange with the Ventura (134) Freeway.
The 55-year-old woman, who was not identified, was standing near
the car when Glendale Fire paramedics arrived. She was taken to
Verdugo Hills Hospital and treated for minor injuries.
Further information was not available on her condition on Tuesday.
Her four-door Toyota sedan came to rest on top of a guardrail and
a 20-foot concrete retaining wall and was dangling over Wilson
Terrace, officials said.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
It was the second accident in less than a week at the interchange.
On July 24, a woman walked away with no visible injuries from a
crash in which her car hit a light post, scratched a car roof and
landed on another car.
