Workshop to focus on retail tools

Business owners and managers are invited to learn more about the

tools available to help run a specialty store at a workshop offered

by the Service Corps of Retired Executives, or SCORE.

The “Tools of Retail Specialty Store Operation” workshop will be

from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at 330 N. Brand Blvd. in Glendale

The hands-on workshop will be presented by Robert Bearson, who has

served in marketing and merchandising positions in major retail

establishments.

The workshop costs $20.

SCORE is a Glendale-based chapter of the U.S. Small Business

Administration that offers workshops designed to help new business
