Stepping Stone Players planning barbecue

The Stepping Stone Players are planning a fund-raising dinner for

their upcoming production of the Tony Award-winning musical “Annie,”

opening Sept. 5.

The Backstage Bar-B-Q will be from 4 to 8 p.m. April 12, hosted by

the Mulder family in Glendale. The family event will feature a

home-style barbecue, line-dancing lessons, activities for the kids,

bingo, a silent auction, 50/50 drawing, a bake sale and live

entertainment, including performers from past Stepping Stone Players’

productions.

The Stepping Stone Players is dedicated to building a sense of

community through live theater by encouraging people of all ages to

participate regardless of experience or background. This marks the

first time the musical will extend over three weekends.
