Crone’s Council meets Saturday

An organization that celebrates the wisdom that comes with age will

have its first meeting Saturday in Glendale for women older than 50.

Members of The Los Angeles Chapter of Elderwomen’s Council, which

also goes by the name Crone’s Counsel, has planned a potluck from 11

a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the La Crescenta Church of Religious

Science. Younger women are welcome to attend as elderwomen in

training.

The purpose of Saturday’s meeting is to define the local chapter’s

mission by sharing information gathered from chapters in San Diego

and Seattle.

The meeting will be in Chaffee Hall of the La Crescenta Church of

Religious Science, 4845 Dunsmore Ave., La Crescenta. Guests are asked
