Flintridge Prep football Coach Marty Konrad and his recently

graduated players already have a photo album of lasting memories from

the 2003 season.

Konrad, Rebel assistant Tom Fry and eight of their former players

better have saved at least one more page for some additional

snapshots.

Konrad will guide the West squad in the second annual The Next

Level Sports East-West All-Star game at 3 p.m. today at Brentwood

School, 100 S. Barrington Place in Los Angeles.

The West team will feature athletes from Flintridge Prep -- which

won the CIF Southern Section Division XIII title -- Division XII

champion Village Christian, North Hollywood Campbell Hall, North

Hills L.A. Baptist, Pasadena Poly, Brentwood, Simi Valley Grace

Brethren and Acton Vasquez.

Representing Flintridge Prep will be quarterback Greg Sherman,

wide receiver Ramses Barden, tailback T.C. Scotton, linebacker Eric

Sarkissian, lineman Luis Turcios, lineman Eric Maher, lineman Will

Wagner and wide receiver/defensive back Mike Gadel.

route to earning News-Press All-Area Player of the Year honors in the

fall.

Sarkissian, an All-Area first-team selection, was named the

Defensive Player of the Year in Division XIII. Sarkissian holds the

program record for tackles in a career with 239.

The Rebels allowed only 8.8 points per game on their way to

becoming the first local 11-Man football team to win a CIF title

since 1979.

Sherman was third in the area with 1,547 passing yards and 16

touchdowns.

Barden was Sherman’s favorite target. The three-sport standout

All-Prep League selection.

The West squad will feature 16 All-CIF selections, in addition to

Whittier Christian, has four All-CIF players.

Caffrey will have players from Whittier Christian, Encino Crespi,
