GORDON EWING

Gordon Ewing died Nov. 23, 2004, in his sleep. He was 79.

Ewing was born April 7, 1925, in Wilcox, Ariz., and lived in

Glendale with his wife Nancy since 1961. He was an actor in all

mediums, including musical comedy, but especially television

commercials. He also performed opera, concerts and his own one-man

show.

Ewing is survived by his wife Nancy; sons, Mark and Brian; and

four grandchildren.

A celebration of Ewing’s life is at 1 p.m. Dec. 18 at Pasadena

Presbyterian Church, 585 E. Colorado Blvd, Pasadena. In lieu of

flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Assn.

SALLY-ANN HOLLADAY

Sally-Ann Winslow Holladay died Nov. 16, 2004. She was 67.

Holladay was born March 29, 1937, in Chicago and was a longtime

resident of La Canada Flintridge. She volunteered for the Glendale

Community Hospital and was president of the Glendale Community

Hospital Guild in 1974. She supported the La Canada Flintridge

Tournament of Roses program, and belonged to the Special Children’s

League, Foothill Committee for nearly 30 years. Her successful

fundraising benefited the United Cerebral Palsy/Spastic Children’s

Foundation.

Holladay is survived by her daughter, Beth Myers; son-in-law, Ron

Myers; and two grandchildren, Gabrielle and Matthew Myers.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Dec. 11 at Little White Chapel, 1711 N.

Avon St., Burbank. In lieu of flowers, donations in Holladay’s name

can be made to Special Children’s League. They can be mailed to

MARGARET ARZOIAN

Margaret Arzoian died Nov. 30, 2004. She was 82.

Arzoian was born July 10, 1922, in Los Angeles. She was a longtime

resident of Glendale.

She was a devoted member of Immanuel Armenian Church in Downey and

taught Sunday school

She is survived by her husband, Harry, of 56 years; sons, John,

Brian, and Alan; and eight grandchildren, Kenneth, Andrew, Kimberly,

Amy, Paul, Rebecca, Mark, and Eric.

Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hollywood Hills Forest Lawn,

Old North Church, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive. In lieu of flowers

donations can be made to Immanuel Armenian Church, 9516 Downey Ave.,

Downey, CA 90240.
