L.A. man accused
of selling cocaine
NORTHEAST GLENDALE -- A Los Angeles man was arrested last week on
suspicion of selling cocaine after Glendale Police saw him dealing to
the owner of a North Brand Boulevard restaurant, authorities said
Wednesday.
Investigators, acting on a tip, followed Jason Sikaffy, 44, at
noon Friday from downtown Los Angeles to the back parking lot of Hot
Wings Cafe, Det. Joe Allen said. Police watched Sikaffy sell cocaine
worth up to $200 to Robert Ghazarian, a 50-year-old Burbank man who
owns the restaurant, and then made the arrest, Allen said.
Police found about an ounce of cocaine in Sikaffy’s possession,
Allen said. The street value is about $1,000, he said.
“From our understanding, he has been dealing on a frequent basis
in the city during the last year,” Allen said.
Both men were bailed out of Glendale City Jail on Friday, Allen
said.
