Yo ho, you ho, it’s a pirate’s life for moviegoers at Hollywood’s legendary El Capitan Theatre from July 7 through September 4 as “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest,” the exciting new adventure from Walt Disney Pictures and producer Jerry Bruckheimer, sails into port for a special engagement accompanied by an exclusive display of props from the film.

El Capitan guests will be treated to a colorful array of props and set pieces from the film including cannons, costumes, treasure chests, Captain Jack Sparrow’s ring and pieces of the Black Pearl and Flying Dutchman ships themselves.

If audiences haven’t had enough of swashbuckling pirates they can continue the celebration of the return of Jack Sparrow at Disney’s Soda Fountain and Studio Store, located adjacent to the El Capitan Theatre. There a “Pirate’s Treasure Sundae,” awaits hungry sailers. It is a mouth-watering concoction that includes an island of butter rum-flavored ice cream surrounded by a sea of rich chocolate sauce. Candy coated chocolate jewels, a treasure mound of whipped cream and a collectible souvenir bowl add to the pirate ice cream adventure.

Tickets for this special engagement of “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” can be purchased at the El Capitan box office, on line at www.elcapitantickers.com, or by calling 1-800-DISNEY6. For groups of 20 or more, 845-3110 for special rates and availability.
