Montrose-Verdugo Chamber of Commerce:Good Reasons to Be a Chamber Member

One question that people ask is, “Why should I be a member of the Chamber of Commerce?” An excellent question and here are some very good reasons:

#1 Advertising value for new members. All new members have the option of a ribbon cutting with photos to appear in the local papers and Chamber newsletter. For most businesses the value of that advertising is far and beyond the membership cost.

#2 Advertising and referral value of existing members. Your business is listed in the membership directory, on our website and is a referral resource within the Chamber office. When the public calls, we provide them with recommendations from our membership.

#3 Program event advantages. Each year the Chamber has events which attract people from all over southern California giving our members, as well as our entire area, the opportunity to be spotlighted. One such event is the annual Montrose Oktoberfest.

#4 Business after hours. As members you can attend our monthly mixers to display your literature and pass out business cards plus network with other businesses and customers. What an easy way to meet people and discover business opportunities that you may not normally have had.

The cost is just $5 at the door for members and $7 for non-members.
