PTA NEWS:Crescenta Valley gets its accreditation

Crescenta Valley High School was recently awarded a six-year clear accreditation with a three-year “brief written report.”

This is the best accreditation a school can earn. Crescenta Valley was one of four clear six-year schools visited in more than 100 visits by the Western Assn. of Schools and Colleges (WASC) representative.

The visiting committee from WASC believed that working with students and parents, the staff can continue to move Crescenta Valley High School forward. Way to go!

Supt. Michael Escalante will discuss “The State of the Schools” at an informal meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday in the Crescenta Valley High School Auditorium. For more information, call PTSA President Debbie Green at (818) 249-5871.
