GIRLS’ SWIMMING

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 111, Louisville 58: The Tologs swept every event in Thursday’s Mission League meet at Sherman Oaks-Van Nuys Pool.

Briana Swinney, Andrea Kropp, Beth Strub and Alex Marquez of Sacred Heart (6-0, 2-0 in league) notched a time of 1 minute 57.35 seconds in the 200-yard medley relay.

In the 400-yard freestyle relay, Madeline Talt, Lauren Matulich, Mercedes Molina and Strub swam a 4:07.44.

Swinney, Marquez, Kropp and Tricia Dobson recorded a time of 1:42.68 in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

Strub won the 500-yard freestyle (5:30.79) and the 100-yard butterfly (1:04.81).

Marquez was also a double winner in the 200- (2:05.13) and 100-yard freestyle (57.22).

Kropp won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.40) and 200-yard individual medley (2:11.65).

Swinney won the 100-yard backstroke and Dobson won the 50-yard freestyle (26.54).

MEN’S TENNISThe Vaqueros (6-4, 4-2 in Western State Conference) got more splendid play from Dylan Kim, who won in singles 6-0, 6-1, and, along with Norik Otuzbiryan, won in doubles, 9-7, on Thursday at Bakersfield.

Glendale Community College 7, Bakersfield 1:

Otuzbiryan won his singles set, 6-3, 6-3.

Mathew Taotao won in singles 6-0, 6-2 and in doubles, with Micheal Maarup, prevailed, 8-2.

Greg Arutyanyan won in straight sets, 7-6 (10-8), 7-5 and Craig Strazzeri won 6-3, 3-6, 6-3.

BOYS’ GOLF

Crescenta Valley 190, La Salle 201: Kory Barkley fired a one-over-par 36 on Thursday to propel the Falcons (15-1, 8-0 in Pacific League) in Thursday’s nonleague match.

John Huh had a 37 for Crescenta Valley, which got 39s from Justin Yu, Bill Varsh and Preston Easley.

On Wednesday, the Falcons recorded a 191-195 victory against San Marino in a nonleague match played at the Santa Anita Golf Course in Arcadia.

Huh carded a one-under-par 35 and Dominic Lingua shot an even-par 36.

Varsh shot a one-over-par 37.

Flintridge Prep 213, Bellarmine-Jefferson 237: Flintridge Prep’s Shane Klasnimi finished with a three-over-par 37 for the Rebels (6-4) in Thursday’s nonleague match.

Hasan Doxey, Michael Langer and Mack Carroll notched 43s for Flintridge Prep.

St. Francis 197, Monrovia 275: The Golden Knights (5-5, 2-3 in Mission League) got three-over-par 38s from Len Shonka Jr. and Chris Campbell in nonleague competition at Pasadena’s Brookside Park Course No. 1 on Wednesday.

Monrovia fielded a team of just three golfers for the contest.

Tuesday, Shonka shot a one-under-par 34 to lead St. Francis to a 201-241 Mission League win against Alemany at Porter Valley.

BASEBALL

Chadwick 11, Flintridge Prep 3: Mark Chodas finished with a team-high three hits Thursday for the visiting Rebels in a Prep League contest.

Zach Goldstein and Connor McCann collected two hits apiece for Flintridge Prep (5-3, 1-2 in league).

BOYS’ VOLLEYBALLThe Golden Knights continued their struggles in Mission League play, falling to 2-10 overall and 0-4 in league with a 25-11, 25-19, 25-19 loss.
