Here are some interesting ideas on how to be rich and happy. Whether you are in business or not, these suggestions could be of value.

Eat mostly fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts and grains.

Minimize alcohol, tobacco, sugar, salt, white flour, coffee, pork, and unnatural foods.

Avoid saying “can’t,” “hard,” “difficult.” Say, “I can,” “it’s easy,” “it’s simple.”

Keep your home, desk, closets, and car clean, neat and organized.

Use a simple time management system.

Listen to music that motivates you.

Maintain a good looking tan.

Spend more time with nature.

The Chamber wants to thank world-famous artist Gerald Brommer for a fantastic collage art workshop held in the Citibank Community Room this past week. There were a total of 17 students, with some of them coming from as far away as San Francisco and Las Vegas. Our Chamber treasurer and artist Bill Bates has been responsible for all four of Brommer’s workshops that are sponsored by the Chamber. Another is slated for December 2008.

Please mark your calendars for the annual Memorial Day services on Monday, May 28 at 8 a.m. at the Vietnam War Memorial located at Honolulu Avenue and Oceanview Boulevard. The public is invited to remember those who gave their lives.
