The following incidents were taken from reports filed at the Glendale Police Station:
Ethel Street at Moncado Drive: Two fire hydrants were reportedly painted over with blue spray paint on Monday, causing an estimated $200 in damage. Another fire hydrant on the 1000 block of Ethel Street was also painted blue, causing an additional $100 in damage. 1300 block of East Colorado Street: A 52-year-old Glendale man was arrested Monday on suspicion of grand theft auto after he was reportedly caught diving a stolen Toyota Tacoma. 1300 block of East Harvard Street: A Jeep Grand Cherokee was reportedly burglarized of four headrests, both side mirrors, a steering wheel cover and arm rest, causing at least $500 in damage. East Chevy Chase Drive at Harvey Drive: An 18-year-old Glendale man was arrested Monday on suspicion of possessing marijuana. East Maple Street at South Verdugo Road: A 25-year-old Riverside man was arrested Monday on suspicion of possessing marijuana.
