Pam and Mike Carone of the Crescenta Valley celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with family and friends recently. Many guests gathered together to share with the couple in their celebration.

The couple, both native Angelenos, married on Aug. 1, 1942, after meeting while attending John Marshall High School.

They have two children, Nick and Pamela; two grandchildren, Michael and Ryann; and four great-grandchildren, Cole, Nicholas, Reese and Lukas.

The Carones built their home in Highway Highlands, a part of Glendale, in 1955 and have lived there ever since. Mike and his son, Nick, started their own business in 1973, Mikron Products, Inc., and upon Mike’s retirement he and Pam traveled extensively throughout the world.

Both say that they are enjoying their “platinum years” with family and friends.
