POLICE REPORT

The following items were taken from Glendale Police Department reports:

East Chevy Chase Drive and Glendale Avenue: A 21-year-old Los Angeles woman was arrested Friday during a traffic stop on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. Her passenger, a 25-year-old Los Angeles man, was also arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana.

Victory Boulevard and Ventura (134) Freeway: A 26-year-old Glendale man was cited and released Saturday on suspicion of reckless driving and traveling at unsafe speeds. An officer allegedly saw him violating six traffic laws and reaching speeds of more than 60 mph in a 35 mph zone.

2800 block of Sycamore Avenue: A 19-year-old Glendale man was arrested Saturday on suspicion of possession of marijuana.

200 block of South Central Avenue: A 20-year-old Glendale woman was detained by Target store security Saturday and cited on suspicion of petty theft. The woman was accused of trying to steal a $65 purse.

200 block of South Central Avenue: A 23-year-old Tujunga woman and a 25-year-old North Hollywood woman were arrested Saturday on suspicion of grand theft. The women allegedly tried to steal more than $700 worth of clothing.

West Chevy Chase Avenue and San Fernando Road: A 41-year-old Glendale man was arrested Saturday on suspicion of being drunk in public and being in possession of a forged Social Security card.

300 block of Los Feliz Road: A Los Angeles man reported Friday that his vehicle was burglarized outside his workplace. A $100 car stereo was missing, and the ignition was broken.

Alameda Avenue and West Glenoaks Boulevard: A Sylmar man reported Wednesday that he was assaulted by a man with a knife. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived and has not been found.
