Alexis V. Casillas of San Gabriel and Jordan Dentler Segall of Glendale were married at the San Gabriel Country Club. The bride and groom have been a couple since ninth grade.
The Honorable Richard Paez, federal appellate court judge, officiated.
The maid of honor was Vanessa Casillas, the bride’s sister.
The bridesmaid was Samantha Segall, the groom’s sister.
David M. Jacobs was the best man, and the groomsman was Lucas D. Segall, the groom’s brother.
A reception was held at the San Gabriel Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Debra and Juan Casillas of San Gabriel.
She is a graduate of the University of Chicago and has a bachelor’s degree in history. She is completing law school at Columbia University.
She is a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.
The groom is the son of Deborah Dentler and Tony Segall of Glendale.
He is a graduate of the University of Chicago and has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in history. He is enrolled in a joint degree program earning his doctorate in sociology and law degree from Stanford University.
The couple honeymooned in Portugal and London.
They plan to live in graduate student housing at Stanford University.
