OBITUARY

IONE ORR BECKER

Ione Orr Becker, a Glendale resident for 48 years, died Monday. She was 86.

Becker was born July 4, 1921, in Devils Lake, N.D.

She was a nurse for more than 45 years and retired after a long career at Glendale Memorial Hospital, where she was the supervisor of nursing.

She was active in several community organizations, including the PTA at several schools, the Assistance League, PEO Sisterhood and Glendale Beautiful.

She is survived by her three children, Bruce Orr, John Orr and Debbie Camara; their spouses, Susan Orr, Peggy Orr and Ed Camara; as well as five grandchildren, Jonathan Orr, Allison Orr, Jennine Camara, Brian Camara and David Camara.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. March 3 at the First Congregational Church, at 2001 Cañada Blvd.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to the First Congregational Church of Glendale.
