Village Christian, the only K-12 Blue Ribbon School in Southern California, announces expansion and additions to their Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) to over $3.5 million, by increasing financial aid funding and adding merit based awards and scholarships for the 2008-2009 academic year.

Open enrollment begins March 15. “This is an effort to increase accessibility and recognize students of excellence. Village Christian is committed to providing every student every opportunity to excel,” said Dr. Ronald Sipus, superintendent.

The Merit Based component is intended to reward excellence and hard work ethic, according to Jim Frankian, board of directors treasurer, current parent and CEO of R. T. Frankian and Associates.

It allows VCS to recognize and reward student achievements on both the academic level and that of community impact.

Financial aid awards are given on a first come, first served basis requiring a confidential financial disclosure through an secure online application process.
