The Montrose Shopping Park Assn. will celebrate the 95th birthday anniversary of Montrose from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Montrose Shopping Park, 2200 block of Honolulu Avenue in Montrose. The celebration will feature the Gremoli New Orleans Jazz Band, The Russ Turner Trio, old time photo exhibit, a grand-nine tier birthday cake representing the nine decades of Montrose, presentations, public speakers and more. The Glendale/Foothill Communities CROP Hunger Walk will be at 1:30 p.m. beginning at Incarnation Catholic Church, 1001 N. Brand Blvd., Glendale. Registration and pre-walk activities begin at 1 p.m. The walk ends at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1020 N. Brand Blvd., Glendale. The walk raises funds for hunger. Glendale Beautiful will have its annual Arbor Day Program beginning at 10 a.m. with a coffee social and program at 10:30 a.m. at the Casa Adobe de San Rafael, 1330 Dorothy Drive, Glendale.
