Soccer tryouts to be held for boys/girls

The Los Angeles Futbol Club will host open tryouts and training sessions for 2008-2009 season.

Boys and girls, ages 9-14, are encouraged to participate in the sessions, which will be held at La Cañada High (boys) and Maranatha High (girls) from through March 20.

All players should bring water, a soccer ball, cleats and shin guards.

A Santa Clarita Valley-based age group water polo club is seeking boys and girls between the ages of 11-13.
