Flintridge Circle in La Cañada, two iron chairs and a round mosaic patio table were stolen from the backyard in a home in the 1200 block between Friday and Sunday.

La Crescenta Avenue in La Crescenta, jewelry was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 4400 block; overnight between Friday and Saturday.

Mary Street in La Crescenta, a Sirius radio system, containers of oil, spark plugs and cash were stolen from an unlocked vehicle; 2800 block between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Saturday.

Verdugo Boulevard in La Cañada, a Los Angeles County Hazardous Materials officer responded to the United Artists Theater and the theater was evacuated after two plastic containers were found in the men’s restroom. According to Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station detectives, the chemicals within the plastic bottles caused a reaction that melted the sides of the bottles, allowing a strong odor to escape. The theater was evacuated as a precaution, but no damage was done and patrons were allowed to reenter after Hazmat determined it was safe to do so; 1900 block at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Lavender Lane in La Cañada, the rear tire of a vehicle was sliced while it was parked in front of a residence in the 1000 block overnight Feb. 28-29.

Raymond Street in La Crescenta, a wall was vandalized with spray-painted graffiti at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; 4500 block overnight Feb. 27-28.

Montrose Avenue in La Crescenta, two bedrooms were ransacked and a wallet and cash were stolen from a residence; 2200 block between 1:30-3:30 p.m. on Feb. 27.

Mira Vista Avenue in Montrose, a four-door Volkswagen Jetta was stolen from a residence; 2300 block overnight Feb. 26-27.

Palm Drive in La Cañada, a navigation system was stolen from a locked vehicle; 4900 block overnight Feb. 26-27.

Ocean View Boulevard in La Cañada, jewelry and personal items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle; 4400 block overnight Feb. 26- Feb. 27.

Orange Avenue in La Crescenta, a garage door was left open and someone entered and spray- painted graffiti on an interior wall of the structure; 3000 block during the day on Feb. 26.

Leyland Place in La Cañada, a window was broken in an apparent burglary, but nothing was stolen; 4500 block between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 25.

El Vago Street in La Cañada, a woman reported that a man knocked on her front door and rang the bell numerous times at her home. Because she did not recognize him she did not open the door. She watched him leave the front porch, and then she saw him peering through her home’s windows before entering the home through an unlocked sliding glass door. The woman began to scream and the suspect fled. He drove away in a light gold or yellowish late model Mercedes Benz with blue paper dealer plates; 1000 block at 10:50 a.m. on Feb. 25.

Community Avenue in La Crescenta several areas of Crescenta Valley High School was vandalized with spray-painted, marker and “slap tagging” graffiti over the weekend of Feb. 23-24.
