One type of photo we often look for are weather photos. Rainy days, we're looking for umbrellas, splashes or clouds. Hot weather can be a little harder because people are trying to stay out of the heat, not go out into it. Makes sense, but it also makes it hard to find a good photo.

On this particular day, I had just gotten done hiking up to the Brand family cemetery and was starting to drive back to the office. I saw this boy riding his bike through the sprinklers and just had to stop. You don't get opportunities like this very often.

I didn't really have much time to get my shot. I grabbed my camera body with a 70-200mm lens on it, threw 1.4X teleconverter on it to give myself a little more reach and started shooting. He was nicely back-lit, which made the water from the sprinklers pop a little more. I couldn't ask for more.
