Golf lessons to be given locally

Verdugo Hills Golf Course will provide golf instruction for junior (ages 5-15) golfers.

The program will begin Tuesday and run through Aug. 28. Each class is three days long and will run from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays.

The cost is $60 per week and is taught by a PGA professional and his assistant. Class size is limited so that each junior gets the proper attention needed.

Additionally a one-hour golf clinic for juniors will be held at 9 a.m. Saturdays. The cost is $10 per session and is taught by the same instructors as the summer program.
