Zarian show to host state assemblyman

Assemblyman Paul Krekorian is scheduled to appear live on “The Larry Zarian Show” Thursday to discuss continued wrangling in Sacramento over the state budget.

Lawmakers have continued to push competing plans and priorities on how to close a projected $17-billion budget shortfall for the state budget next fiscal year, and are expected to once again miss their deadline for balancing the books.

Krekorian will explain the opposing viewpoints, how the budgeting process works on Capitol Hill, and how spending cuts might affect the Glendale area.

Zarian said he also intends to go over transportation and environment issues with the assemblyman.

The show airs at 7 p.m. Thursday on Channel 280. The live call-in number is (818) 547-3668.
