Free Thursday night dances set to return

The free Thursday night dances with a live band return to Downtown Burbank on July 10, continuing through August on the AMC Walkway.

Festivities start at 6 p.m., with free dance lessons by Francisco and Stacey Martinez of the Dance Family Studio (www.thedance family.com). Then at 7 p.m., the band starts to play. Live swing bands will perform in July, and salsa bands take the band stand in August.

The Come Out & Dance concert series is free and presented by Downtown Burbank Partnership.

The July schedule is: July 10, High Street; July 17, Barbara Morrison; July 24, Wiseguys; and July 31, Swing Syndicate.

The August schedule is: Aug. 7, Chino Espinoza Y Los Duenos Del Son; Aug. 14, Johnny Polanco Y Su Conjunto Amistad; Aug. 21, Son Mayor; and Aug. 28, Orquesta Charangoa.
