? Group discusses several issues

The Glendale Education/Social Justice Advocates steering committee will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Pacific Park Library.

The committee aims to provide balanced, straightforward information about military recruiting, sex education programs and health textbooks, which advocate for an abstinence plus curriculum rather than an abstinence-only program. The group will also support the actions of gay-straight alliance clubs and other social issues.
