Cruise Night driving in

Glendale’s 15th annual Cruise Night Car Show and Street Party will be from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday on Brand Boulevard.

The event will feature over 400 classic cars and trucks on display, Peter Noone will perform classic hits that include “I’m Into Something Good,” “Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter” and “I’m Henry VIII, I Am.”

Charity night at steakhouse

The Glendale Assn. for the Retarded will host GAR Charity Night from 4 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at Outback Steakhouse, 146 S. Brand Blvd., Glendale.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to GAR, as long as attendees identify themselves as GAR supporters.

‘Healthy Body, Healthy Brain’

The Alzheimer’s Assn. and the Crescenta-Cañada YMCA on Wednesday present “Healthy Body, Healthy Brain.” The program is designed to reduce risk of memory loss from noon to 1 p.m. at the YMCA, 1930 Foothill Blvd., La Cañada Flintridge.

The event is designed to educate adults about prevention and self care management issues to reduce the risk of memory loss. The seminar is free but space is limited.
