Grammy winner at Americana

Grammy-winning jazz singer/songwriter Steve Tyrell will jazz up the Americana at Brand singing songs from his new album “Back to Bacharach” at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Opening for Tyrell is 25-year-old singer/songwriter Ferras, whose debut album, “Aliens and Rainbows,” was released this year. The concert is free. Event host is Ali Landry. The Americana at Brand is bound by Brand Boulevard, Central Avenue and Colorado Street in downtown Glendale. Enter parking from Central Avenue.

‘Enchanted’ is film for the night

The Summer Moonlight Movie will be “Enchanted,” rated PG, starting at dusk on Friday at Verdugo Park, 162 Cañada Blvd., Glendale. Seating is available on the lawn; beach chairs or blankets are suggested. Teens opine on several issues

Glendale Galleria will host UR Votes Count from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the lower level in JCPenney Court, 2148 Glendale Galleria, Glendale. The event is a teen election that gives teen shoppers the chance to voice their opinion in the 2008 election on issues, such as the environment, national security and the economy, as well as their choice for the president of the United States. Participants will receive prizes and enter a national sweepstakes with a chance to receive instant giveaways and prizes. One winner will receive a $100 Discover gift card.
