We are down to just one day, yay! Oktoberfest is here! The Chamber office has been getting lots of phone calls from the community, so everyone is pumped up. We will continue with the tradition of serving bratwurst. You can purchase advance dinner tickets and save $1.50 per ticket. The tickets are $8.50 presale and can be bought at Schreiner’s located at 3417 Ocean View Blvd. or right here in the Chamber office. If you buy your dinner at Oktoberfest, the price is $10 per meal.

Get the pups and the kids ready to enter the Bavarian dog contest, coloring contest and the Master and Miss Contest. Please drop by the Chamber office and pick up the entry forms. We have contests for the adults, too. There is a full schedule of events on our website for Oktoberfest; visit www.montrosechamber.org. There is so much to see and do; come out and discover what everyone is talking about.

Our kick-off mixer this week for Oktoberfest was just what we needed to get in the Oktoberfest frame of mind. We also got an opportunity to introduce our new Chamber members to everyone. A huge thank you to Citibank - Montrose for hosting this great event; they really went all out for us.
