SUCCESS IS A JOURNEY, NOT A DESTINATION

Author and Pulitzer Prize winner Sonia Nazario visited Hoover High School Thursday morning to discuss her book “Enrique’s Journey” with students.

Nazario’s book grew out of her award-winning series of Los Angeles Times articles about a boy’s journey to reunite with his mother by traveling from Honduras to the United States.

The book is part of the Glendale Public Library’s “One Book/One Glendale” event, which encourages residents to read and discuss the same work during the autumn months.

Students from Daily High School also participated in the event, which was held in the Hoover auditorium.
