Burglary victims seek property

Share

Last Saturday a long line of about 100 burglary victims waited at the Crescenta Valley Station hoping they might find their property among the 1,000 items discovered in a Montrose apartment during a recent investigation.

The items, consisting of everything from guitars to computers and costume jewelry to high-end pieces, were displayed on several tables that filled the station’s back parking lot. Burglary victims from Chatsworth to Monrovia scanned the property hoping to find something that looked familiar.

The items were discovered after a burglary investigation led detectives to a Montrose apartment occupied by Jeffrey Parcell, 37, and Tobias Reyes, 41. The two were under investigation of attempted burglary after a witness reported seeing them enter the yard of a home on Sept. 26 in the 4900 block of Del Monte Road. Search warrants were issued for the suspects’ apartment where the items were found.
