The fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grade classes of St. James the Less Catholic School were honored with the privilege of singing in a special choir at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

This was a special Mass for the Holy Childhood Association, and Catholic schools from all over the Archdiocese of Los Angeles were invited to attend, with only a few schools invited to sing.

St. James was the largest group in the choir, with some students being chosen to sing a solo during the Mass.

Rev. Ken Deasy led the service and welcomed the Missionary Youth of Los Angeles and thanked them for coming together as one to share Mass.

Rev. Ed Dover of St. James ended the Mass by saying, “Let us all rejoice in the work of the Childhood Association.”
