Halloween parades: Crescenta Valley High School

Crescenta Valley High School students dressed in their Halloween best last Friday.

Halloween was slightly different this year as students entered their campus they found it less crowded but with several CV Sheriff deputies and volunteers on campus. A student had reportedly threatened to enter the campus and commit violence, however after an extensive investigation, the threat was groundless. School administrators and law enforcement took the threat seriously and added law enforcement personnel to the campus. The school rules not allowing Halloween masks did not deter students from enjoying the holiday.

Many parents kept their kids out of school that Friday. The kids that attended found a less crowded campus where their creative costumes could be seen and admired.
