Julie Lynne Forster of La Crescenta and Matthew Mario Gomez of Shadow Hills have announced their engagement.

The couple will marry in September.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bill and Sue Forster of La Crescenta.

She graduated from Crescenta Valley High School in 2002. She graduated from cosmetology school in 2004 and is a hair stylist, makeup artist and manager at Tantastic Tanning Salon in La Crescenta.

The groom-elect is the son of Mario and Grace Gomez of Shadow Hills.

He graduated from Verdugo Hills High School in 1998. He is an insurance broker at Maverick Insurance in Calabasas.
