BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Renaissance Academy 51, Lawndale 47: Derrick Simms and Gil Tacita each scored 13 points to pace the Wildcats (5-7) in a semifinal game of the San Gabriel Tournament on Monday.

Renaissance will play Flintridge Prep for the championship today at 7 p.m.

Flintridge Prep 54, San Gabriel 47: Kenyatta Smith scored 15 points and Aaron Fried added 12 on Monday night, as the Rebels (6-3) advanced to the championship game of the San Gabriel Tournament to play Renaissance Academy today at 7 p.m.

Crescenta Valley 64, Temple City 49: The Falcons (7-4) will play Keppel for fifth place in the La Salle/Temple City Holiday Classic today at 4:30 p.m. at La Salle after beating the Rams on Monday behind 18 points and six assists from Narbeh Ebrahamian and 19 points from Coltrane Powdrill.

Hoover 58, Arcadia 54: Sevada Minassians and Rene Karamian led the Tornadoes with 16 and 15 points, respectively, in a consolation-bracket game of the La Salle/Temple City Holiday Classic at La Salle High on Monday afternoon.

Righetti 75, Glendale 46: David Mansuryan scored 17 points for the Nitros (6-5) in a loss in the Hart Tournament on Monday.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Junipero Serra 65, Flintridge Prep 39: Junior guard Megan Musashi collected 21 points, seven rebounds and four blocks on Monday for the Rebels (5-7) in a pool-play contest of the second annual La Cañada High New Year’s Ball Tournament.

Alina Khodadian added seven points and seven rebounds for Flintridge Prep.
