Plan now for Arts Council Brass Bash

The Crescenta Valley Arts Council is preparing for its Brass Bash concert on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. at La Crescenta Presbyterian Church at 2902 Montrose Ave. Local student brass musicians will join with professional brass players and students from other Southern California schools to regale the community with an unforgettable concert. Participating students and student ensembles will be selected by audition two weeks before the Feb. 7 concert. Free coaching from local players will be available prior to the concert. Performing students will join guest student ensembles from Southern California universities and professionals in ensemble works. Admission is $5. Montrose Parade DVDs now on sale

For those that missed the 2008 Montrose Christmas Parade, DVD copies are now for sale in the office of the Valley Sun for a suggested donation of $15. The Valley Sun is located at 1061 Valley Sun Lane in La Cañada, just west of Angeles Crest Highway.
