Foothill Builders on DRB #2 agenda

The development of the existing site of Foothill Builders in the 3500 block of Foothill Boulevard is on the Feb. 12 meeting agenda of the Glendale Design Review Board #2. Material regarding this proposal is available for review at the Glendale Planning Department, Municipal Services Building, 633 E. Broadway, Glendale. The meeting begins at 5 p.m. in room 105.

The agenda for the Feb. 12 meeting should be posted on the city’s website, https://www.ci.glendale.ca.us/agenda.asp.

Dining out fund- raiser planned

La Crescenta Elementary School and the CV Chamber of Commerce/Mary Pinola Educational Endowment Fund are holding a fundraiser on Thursday, Feb. 12 at Dominick’s Italian Restaurant.

From 4 to 9 p.m. a portion of sales will be donated to the endowment fund and to La Crescenta Elementary playground fund. There will be a silent auction, cookie sale, and from 5:30 to 7 p.m., a combo from the CVHS Jazz Band will be playing.

Tournament House offering tours

Every Thursday through August, free tours of the Tournament House are being offered at 2 and 3 p.m. Guests can take a walking tour of the 21-room, 18,500-square-foot Italian Renaissance-style house. .
