GIRLS' SOCCER

Crescenta Valley 5, Burroughs 0: Michelle Deunay scored two goals to lead the Falcons (15-1-4, 12-0 in league) to a Pacific League home victory on Friday.

Katie Martin, Brittany Berger and Tori Baldridge also scored goals for Crescenta Valley and assists went to Brittani Dearman, Jordan Kirby, Frances Boukidis, Jordan Royer and Brianna Ismale. Goalkeepers Apolonia Martinez and Amanda Rose Johnson played a half each to combine for the shutout.

BOYS' SOCCER

Arcadia 1, Hoover 0: The visiting Tornadoes yielded a first-half goal in a Pacific League match Friday. Hoover fell to 4-11 and 3-9 in league.

Flintridge Prep 1, Chadwick 0: Justin Ogungi scored with nine minutes left to lead the visiting Rebels to their first victory of the season Wednesday against the front-running Dolphins, who were previously undefeated in the Prep League. Cary Cousineau picked up an assist. Goalkeeper William McHenry finished with five saves for the Rebels (1-8-4 and 1-2-2 in league).

GIRLS' BASKETBALL

Flintridge Prep 73, Rio Hondo 29: Megan Musashi scored 32 points and Kelsey Merchant added 20 for the Rebels (13-10, 7-3 in league) in a Prep League blowout on Friday. Alina Khodadian scored 12 points and Deanna Watson pulled down 16 rebounds for Prep.

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 58, Chaminade 47: Vanessa Romero scored 19 points to lead the Tologs to a Mission League home win on Thursday. Amanda Erwin and Stephanie Ramsden chipped in with 16 and 14 points, respectively, for Sacred Heart (8-15, 2-6 in league).

BOYS' BASKETBALL

Flintridge Prep 73, Rio Hondo 29: Jonathan Woo had a game-high 18 points. as the Rebels (16-6, 7-0 in league) emerged from a six-point fourth quarter deficit to remain undefeated in Prep League play. Kenyatta Smith added 12 points.
