“So many fail because they don’t get started — they don’t go. They don’t overcome inertia. They don’t begin.”

W. Clement Stone

Thank goodness the following people got started! We are welcoming two new businesses to the Crescenta Valley this month. We hope you join us at their upcoming ribbon cutting/grand opening celebrations.

On Thursday, Feb. 26, Modella Uniforms will be hosting a ribbon-cutting at their new location at 3115 Foothill Blvd. in La Crescenta. This will be the third store for the owner, Emma Garabetian. She is a very hard worker and brings a lot of enthusiasm to the Crescenta Valley. We hope that everyone will come and visit her new store, which will supply school uniforms, scout uniforms, hospital uniforms and much more. Join us Feb. 26 at 4 p.m. at the ribbon-cutting to wish her well!

At 4 p.m. on March 4,, Only Helpful Books.com, another business in the same complex at 3115 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta, will have its ribbon-cutting and grand opening celebration. This bookstore will specialize in self-help books; however, they will also carry college books, electronics and gifts. They can also special order any book. Owner Golam Chowdhury will actually open his bookstore, Only Helpful Books.com, on Feb. 14 in time for Valentine’s Day shopping.
