Dog auditions for television show

Producers of National Geographic’s “The Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan” will be auditioning dogs and their owners from 4 to 5 p.m. Friday at Petco, 231 N. Glendale Ave. A video showing your dog’s bad behavior is required for submission.

Guided tour of Rockhaven

Historic preservationists tonight will host a guided photo tour of the Rockhaven Sanitarium, which is currently under renovation.

The event will include a short film featuring interviews of past employees and a photographic retrospective of the last year.

The “tour” will start at 7 p.m. at the Center for Spiritual Living at the corner of Dunsmore Avenue and Santa Carlotta Street.

Foothill meeting about project

Developers of a proposed mixed-use project at the former site of Foothill Builders and Hardware will host a community input meeting Thursday.

Owners of the property are seeking neighborhood feedback on the contentious proposal since the last Design Review Board hearing.

The meeting is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the site at 3522 Foothill Blvd.
