Spend an evening listening to music performed by talented students from Glendale Unified School District during the Elementary Instrumental Honors Music Festival at 7 p.m. Friday at the Glendale High School Auditorium.
This is a wonderful opportunity to see fifth- and sixth-grade students from each elementary school perform in a concert setting. Each has been chosen by their school’s music teacher. The concert will feature four wind and four string musical pieces, each conducted by one of the district elementary school music teachers. The theme of this year’s performance is “A World of Music.†The event is free, but donations will be accepted. For more information, call the Educational Services Department at (818) 241-3111, Ext. 301.
